On Friday my family celebrated three events, my brother's 20th birthday, my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary and of course the Royal Wedding. On Sunday the ABC showed Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol, a day after the UK. I really enjoyed it and am now looking forward to seeing what Series 6 has in store in 2011.

1. Totally loved the first two episodes of Sherlock which aired on Sunday and Monday night in Australia. I loved how Steven Moffat and Mark Gattis has brought Sherlock Holmes into the 21st Century and how Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman portrayed Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.
